This dynamic interactive workshop will focus on providing the next generation of school leaders with an approach to achieve a culturally proficient learning environment. We will address an inside-out approach using the four tools of cultural proficiency to meet the needs of our increasingly diverse student and family population. Participants will explore cultural proficiency initiatives to enrich academic instruction through effective leaders that align policies, practices, values and procedures to meet the needs of all students regardless of culture, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. This session will engage participants in authentic conversation about equity and inclusion and provide participants with hands-on activities to share immediately with site educators.
